I've moved from badger to boar due to using soaps instead of creams. The boar bristles are stiffer and better suited to soaps. This lathers up well and softens the beard ready to shave.
It may cause a lot of hair loss, but it was very comfortable.
The hair loss has already stopped.
I am very satisfied.
