Blades arrived really quickly and my husband is very happy with them

I had a V1 for a few years that was excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately I dropped it and dented the corner (the V1 had square corners) which affected the way the blade sat so only.one side shaved properly. I decided to upgrade to the newer version.
The V2 looks more robust, has great looking, rounded corners, and the handle.is far easier to grip with the rougher knurling (another improvement on the V1). I've had one shave, using a Feather blade and it was the best shave I've ever had. Very happy.

The Mitchell's product line is evidently going extinct, which is a terrible shame. The shaving soap is rightfully beloved, but their other products such as the hand soaps, shower gels, and skin lotion are likewise tremendously good. The lotion itself has a light, fresh scent and is extremely soothing for dry or rough skin. It was a great purchase!

It was a perfect match for DOVO evony wood handle shavette.

Texture of the ebony is amazing.
I used a long blade and the finish was good.

Hubby finds this luxuriously creamy and smooth. May be dearer to purchase but needs less to make a good creamy partner so overall more economical.

Well guys, I tried this razor this morning and I really really like it. Not only that it’s a little lighter than my previous razor but it’s also small and it gave me a very good shave. The handle color is a little darker but it still looks great. It’s a very nice razor for the price. I really like it. I believe I found a razor. I really enjoy all my other ones do really good too, but just small and works really well for me. Highly recommend this one.

For more than 40 years I’ve used disposable razors, I’ll never buy another one now I have the Hanson razor it really is awesome!

The Merkur 25001 offers a great shave, being on the milder side when it comes to open comb razors, but still able to take down growth with little effort. It is a lighter weight razor compared to many that weight 20-30g more, and the handle is thinner than average. I did not find this to be problematic as I had initially expected. The grips is good. At it's price I think it represents a very good buy.
