Service & Delivery
The Henson Ti22 is a titanium safety razor built from Grade 5 Titanium, the same alloy used in aerospace and medical applications. This material is stronger than steel yet lighter, offering exceptional durability without adding unnecessary weight. The bare titanium finish requires no coating and will not wear or fade over time.
At 63g, the Ti22 titanium razor is heavier than the aluminium AL13 (37g), providing additional feedback during shaving. This weight encourages controlled, deliberate strokes while the precision-machined head maintains consistent blade alignment. CNC-machined to tolerances of +/- 0.00025 inches, the geometry ensures the blade sits at the correct angle without adjustment.
The Henson Ti22 is manufactured in Canada and represents the top of the Henson range. For those seeking a double edge safety razor built from premium materials with no compromise on engineering, this is the flagship option.
Mild, Medium Or Aggressive: Which To Choose
Mild (0.68 mm / 0.027" blade gap): Best for those new to safety razors, daily shavers with lighter growth, or anyone with sensitive skin. Offers a gentler introduction with minimal blade exposure.
Medium (0.84 mm / 0.033" blade gap): The recommended choice for most users. Suited to regular to coarse beard growth and provides efficient, comfortable shaving. If unsure, start here.
Aggressive (0.99 mm / 0.039" blade gap): Designed for experienced wet shavers with coarse or dense growth. Maximum blade exposure for efficient cutting in fewer passes.
All three deliver a close shave. The difference lies in blade exposure and efficiency.

Great razor, the grip on these henson razors is amazing better than anything else I’ve used, will last forever if you look after it the aluminium razors im sure are great too but the titanium has the cool factor for sure!
Before i bought the new model HensenTI22 +++ razor i had an Henson TI 22 ++ in the older version (bougt at ebay). It did good work but i didnt feel the blade during shaving.
Now with the new Razor +++ version for me everything is perfect.
Good bladefeeling and a fully satisfying rasoring, a very smooth result.
I used feather blades and had nearly no cuts
at all !
A perfect razor , i love it !
I rinse the razor with icecold water for a better bladefeeling and that works.
Great shave. Great service
Super quick delivery from male grooming supplies, I cannot fault them. The razor is a piece of art that actually for me delivers the smoothest shaves I have ever had. I opted for the mild version and if you have sensitive skin this is 100% the best option for you trust me. You pay for what you get here, there will be no buyers remorse once you've had that first shave.
Well worth the extra cost for the weight and precision. I intend to keep this for life so I'd rather buy once and be done and this fits the bill. The Mild version is the perfect aggression for me ... if you have a Rockwell 6C its in between a 2 and 3 plate for me
