The Henson AL13 Safety Razor V2.0 in Aircraft Aluminium is the original finish in the AL13 range. The natural aluminium appearance offers a clean, industrial aesthetic that highlights the precision machining of the razor.
This Henson razor is manufactured in Canada from aircraft-grade aluminium, CNC-machined to tolerances of +/- 0.00025 inches. This ensures consistent blade alignment, allowing the razor to guide itself to the correct shaving angle without constant adjustment.
The head design supports the blade close to the cutting edge, reducing flex and chatter. The result is a controlled, predictable shave.

Thus is my first safety razor and I've only used it half a dozen times but so far its been great.
Razor so far:
100% - delivery was awesome, came less than 24 hours from ordering. Most impressive, well done.
On Pension Credit (and 83 this year), it took a bit of saving for - but Tescos and other traditional ladies' electric ones, didn't properly shave legs. Which sounds like 'Day of the Triffids' - but actually they are just fair and average, probably more knobbly with age? Hence uneven past results.
Not generally given to searching men's shaving sites, my Microsoft guy mentioned this, (unknown to me), NASA -inspired model - which he is saving up for. There comes a time, when sometimes you spend SOOOO MUCH TIME faffing about ordering/selecting/returning faulty goods (Tescos one) - that you just bite the bullet and treat yourself.
Incidentally, of 4 hours wasted on 2 other websites which would not accept my input - nor reduce on screen, the 7 accidentally ordered (for 1 no. only required), and wouldn't show on screen, your site was a dream to work with. One supplier clocked up £570 on screen - which would not alter the cart.
So well done all round. Will now have to confess my purchase to the M/S guy in due course when he brings the printer back..
Didn't think a razor could be this smooth before
Only 2 shaves in but I think I have it dialled... No pressure, let the razor do the work, short strokes => smooth as anything with no nicks or bleeds.
The razor itself is nicely machined aluminium, grippy and comfortable to hold.
Far better imo than a multi-blade, my old 1960's Gillette Adjustable, or my more recent goto Edwyn Jagger, although the latter remains excellent for its' price.

Amazing Razor, my first Saftey Razor and it is extremely easy to use. The medium aggression is perfect for me. Paired with the feather blades, as close to a BBS shave as I have got so far!
