I don't know why I didn't buy a real razor earlier. I shave a lot. When the Henson arrived I was struck by its high quality finish. Everything is tight and thought through well. The shave is sublime, smooth and easy and much closer than the usual plastic razors. My shave last much longer and it's a real pleasure to use.
I wanted a milder shave than my existing razor and this ticks all the boxes. It's very light and easy to manoeuvre and, so far, has resulted in no nicks. I'm using Feather blades. It takes a little longer and more passes than the Merkur Futur but worth it to avoid the cuts. I'm hoping that the aluminium will mean it stays corrosion free, unlike the Merkur

The Henson Mild razor is fantastic. So easy to get the cutting angle right. Very good for sensitive skin. Razor is lightweight. Well built. Would have no hesitation in recommending this razor.
