The Henson AL13 Shaving Box Set brings together the core components for a complete safety razor setup. It includes the Henson AL13 razor in Aircraft Aluminium (Mild), a matching aluminium stand, and 100 double edge razor blades.
The AL13 razor is CNC-machined to tolerances of +/- 0.00025 inches, with a head design that supports the blade close to the cutting edge. This reduces flex during shaving and encourages a lighter touch. The Mild configuration suits daily shavers, those with lighter beard growth, or anyone with sensitive skin.
The included stand holds the razor securely between uses and allows the head to dry properly. Proper drying extends blade life and maintains hygiene.

I am really pleased with my new shaving system, new razor, ditched my old cartridge one, new brush and cream, which smells great. Smooth shave and not going back to the old stlye
Getting fed up with the cost of cartridges for my old razor, I decided to try wet shaving — and so far, so good. The shave is definitely closer and lasts longer. I'm still figuring out how to efficiently shave the underside of my chin and neck, but I'm getting there.
As for the kit, it includes everything you need from a hardware perspective. The razor is very light, easy to hold, and comes with a useful stand. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and looking forward to refining my technique.
