The Henson AL13 Shaving Box Set combines the Aircraft Aluminium razor in Mild configuration, a matching aluminium stand and 100 RK double edge blades. It is a practical gift or first safety-razor purchase when you want those three items together rather than selecting them individually.
This is the Mild razor, not an adjustable model with several settings. The included 100 blades are a finite replacement supply, not a subscription or blades-for-life offer. How long they last depends on your shaving frequency and blade-changing routine.

Getting Started
The AL13 has a three-piece head. Unscrew the handle, place one blade on the top cap and refit the base plate in the correct orientation before tightening the handle finger-tight. Follow the supplied assembly instructions and keep fingers clear of the cutting edges.
Use light pressure and take time to become familiar with the head angle. Mild describes this razor configuration; it does not remove the need for careful technique or mean every shaver will prefer the same blade.
Storage Between Shaves
Rinse away lather and hair, then place the razor on its stand where it can dry. The stand provides a resting place, not a substitute for cleaning. Let the razor dry before packing it away.

I haven't wet shaved for a few decades because of razor burn and soreness, but recently decided to try again.
After going down the YouTube review rabbit hole I purchased this razor. I am very glad I did, and it is perfect for me. No razor burn at all. Very pleased.

Getting fed up with the cost of cartridges for my old razor, I decided to try wet shaving — and so far, so good. The shave is definitely closer and lasts longer. I'm still figuring out how to efficiently shave the underside of my chin and neck, but I'm getting there.
As for the kit, it includes everything you need from a hardware perspective. The razor is very light, easy to hold, and comes with a useful stand. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and looking forward to refining my technique.
