The G&F Timor 1920 model 1350 is a substantial, long-handled closed-comb safety razor. Its solid stainless steel handle measures 100mm long and 12mm thick, with a total razor weight of approximately 117g.

This is a smooth-handle choice rather than the slimmer, knurled 1325. The head is chrome-plated die-cast zinc, so the stainless steel specification applies to the handle, not every component. Ten Timor double edge blades are included.

Loading and Shaving

Separate the handle, base plate and top cap to load a blade. Follow the supplied instructions and keep fingers clear of the cutting edges while securing the assembly.

The weight is a reason to use a light touch, not to press harder. Rinse the head between strokes and check your angle as you learn the razor. Blade choice and technique affect the result.

Clean and dry the parts after shaving, paying attention to the plated head and threaded connection as well as the stainless handle.

Well worth the price.

It feels heavy in the hand, but not so heavy that it grips your hand. But not so heavy that it grips your hand.
If you put the weight on your beard, you can shave without effort.
It's bloody if you don't get used to it, but after using it once or twice it becomes natural.
I like it so much that I want to buy a spare one in case it breaks.
