Martin De Candre Agrumes (Citrus) Shaving Soap

Martin de Candre Agrumes Shaving Soap is the citrus-scented choice in the French maker's shaving range. Grapefruit, bergamot and lemon give it a bright character for someone who prefers citrus to a floral or woody shaving scent.

Choose a 200g Classic jar, 50g Travel jar or Sample Envelope from the format selector. The envelope is a sheet coated with dried shaving soap; it is not a loose sample puck and should be used with a brush rather than rubbed over the face like a cleansing wipe.

What the Sample Contains

The soap-coated sheet folds into a cardboard sleeve. Martin de Candre gives an approximate yield of eight to twelve shaves, depending on how much product is used. The sheet is therefore a small trial format, not a single-use sachet.

Preparing the Lather

Wet a shaving brush with warm water and let the excess water drain off. Work the tips over one part of the sample sheet to collect soap, then build the lather on your face, palm or in a bowl. Add water gradually to adjust the consistency.

When using a jar, load the brush from the soap surface in the same way. Afterwards, let the sheet dry before putting it back in its sleeve, and drain any standing water from a jar before leaving it to dry.
