Martin De Candre Original Shaving Soap

Martin de Candre Original Shaving Soap combines lavender, mint and rosemary in a fresh, aromatic scent. This is the fragranced Original soap, not the unscented Nature version.

The range of options includes a 200g Classic jar, a 50g Travel jar and a Sample Envelope. Pick the presentation as well as the scent: the envelope contains a paper sheet carrying dried shaving soap, not a miniature jar or a wipe for applying directly to the face.

Sample or Jar?

The sample lets you try the Original fragrance and brush lather before choosing a jar. Martin de Candre estimates around eight to twelve shaves from a sheet, depending on how much soap you load. It is not a one-shave sachet.

The 50g jar takes less room when travelling, while the 200g jar is the larger format. Check each option's availability rather than assuming all sizes are ready to order.

Using the Soap

For a jar, load a damp brush with a small amount of soap, then add water gradually while working up the lather. For a sample envelope, move the damp brush over one area of the sheet to pick up soap before developing the lather on your face, palm or in a bowl.

Drain a jar after use and allow the soap to dry. Let the sample sheet dry fully before returning it to the cardboard sleeve. Do not put a wet sheet straight back into its packaging.
