The Merkur 500 Progress Bright Chrome And Antique Brass Upgrade Kit is designed to retrofit Merkur 500 Progress safety razors originally supplied with a plastic adjustment knob. This factory-correct upgrade replaces the plastic component with a solid metal knob finished in antique brass, paired with a bright chrome matching cover.

Manufactured from zinc die-cast and brass, the upgraded components provide a more substantial feel during adjustment while maintaining the original balance and shaving characteristics of the Progress razor. The materials and finishes are selected to match the classic styling associated with Merkur’s traditional adjustable razors.

The kit also includes a spare top plate for servicing or replacement, making it both an upgrade and maintenance solution.
