Razor has no weight to it , so it skips on my face .not bad for body hair so have given to my wife .
Glad I found a local retailer for a single edge razor replacement that I needed. The website is easy to navigate and I explored the wide range of pre- and post-shave products, some modern and some traditional and opted for the latter in ‘travel’ size. There was quick email communication when one of the items I selected was found to be listed on the website in error, and a refund was arranged without needing to prompt this. I am certain I will return as a customer.
I’m an experienced DE shaver with several razors but wanted to give a SE a try and I had read about the Parker. The Parker came with one preloaded blade and my first shave was very poor leaving lots of stubble behind. Apparently this is a common problem as the pre installed blade is rubbish and the advice to throw that blade and install a new one. I ordered some Schick blades and injected one into the Parker and this gave an almost BBS shave with minimal irritation. Anyone used to a cartridge razor will quickly be able to adapt to this as the learning curve using a DE is steeper.
I can’t comment on the longevity of these blades yet- they are significantly more expensive than the DE blades which last me about 5 shaves.
