I expect most people buy this for the Low setting (as they could get a normal shavette for the Medium setting and nobody wants the blade chatter of the High setting) so basically it's quite expensive for a mild low blade exposure shavette but it's such a good shave and so nicely made and wide enough frame to be stable in the hand. Much nicer than the regular SRX in my opinion and with practice the push load system is very reliable way of getting the blade right first time. I've owned a few other cheaper brands of shavettes including the unbranded china ones and if you are serious about shaving this way then get the PTABK as it oozes quality and is all you need. The shave with the Low setting is still super smooth much better than most safety razors can do so there really is no need to upgrade to the Medium setting. Be careful as even with the Low setting it's still possible to get nasty cuts.
