The Merkur 25001 offers a great shave, being on the milder side when it comes to open comb razors, but still able to take down growth with little effort. It is a lighter weight razor compared to many that weight 20-30g more, and the handle is thinner than average. I did not find this to be problematic as I had initially expected. The grips is good. At it's price I think it represents a very good buy.
This is a mild razor but very efficient. My best and most comfortable shave. Male Grooming Supplies were excellent to deal with, great products and prices and delivery was prompt. I have already bought a brush from them and will continue to use them as my go to site . Many thanks!
This is the third occasion I have bought this soap as a gift. I don’t know why you think it’s only men that like it. You should rename you site peoplegrooming supplies.
This shaving cream is fantastic! It has a velvety, smooth texture that spreads easily and creates a rich, creamy foam. The lather washes off effortlessly from both the blades and the skin, making cleanup super easy. I also love the pleasant fragrance — fresh but not overpowering. After shaving, my skin feels soft, hydrated, and irritation-free. Overall, a top-quality product.

Excellent razor.
I started with the gillete king c DE safety razor, i was getting irritation with it and felt liie getting something with a little more umph.
I watched many videos and reviews saying this is the most aggressive razor, so i was wondering if i made the right choice as I'm still new to shaving with safety razor..
This razor works, i don't even get 10% of the irritation i did as i need less passes. I'm still using those derby blades in a green box and they pair together nicely.
There's no need for me to buy another safety razor now because, this is the one!
What's next? Possibly a straight razor or shavette.

Merkur progress gives a nice shave, im still experimenting with blades, but not had a bad shave, Kai blades seem to suit me best at the moment but ill keep experimenting.
